Brief History

In 1946, Martin and Mary McCans started their own company screen printing tee shirts, uniforms and pennants in Philadelphia.  They named the company “Durack”,  Mary’s maiden name.

Durack was originally located at 13th & Callowhill St. where the company blossomed into a successful family-owned clothing and screen printing business.

The business continued under the direction of Martin and Mary until Martin’s death in 1987.  Mary retired shortly thereafter.  Since that time the business has been run by other family members who handle day to day operations.
